We're actually getting really close to the end of the chapter and I'm frightened because I haven't finished writing the next chapter yet. ;_;

Alfdis has hidden depths. As do most of us.

Okay, this is nit-picking but I'm sure the throwing knives are going to come up again at some crucial point.
First: nice drawing of a knife...but I think the serrations on the edge would tend to prevent it from entering its target smoothly and deeply. Also, as far as I understand, the blade and handle of a throwing knife are equal in weight so that when it's thrown it travels through the air by whirling end over end (a b*tch to draw.) You have to be able to judge how many revolutions it will take to hit the goblin with the blade and not the handle. Anyway, I just had to say that and I won't take offence if you choose to delete it.

Thanks for the info!

Frankly, one of the reasons why these knives look the way they do is because they're not really intended as throwing knifes. These are just everyday cutting knives which Alfdis has repurposed. They're not really very good for the job, but Alfdis has backstory reasons for being able to improvise throwing knives at a moment's notice.

But I'm glad you pointed this out to me!

Aaah...I think I understand now. It's not about physics is it? That knife might leave a faint octarine trail?
